Paraphrasing

assalamualaikum disini saya akan menjelaskan tentang paraphrasing jika mungkin ada kesalahan mohon dimaafkan dikarenakan admin juga masih belajar dengan materi ini .

Apa itu paraphrasing ?

Paraphrasing adalah pengungkapkan kembali suatu konsep dengan cara lain dalam bahasa yang sama, namun tanpa mengubah maknanya. Istilah paraphrasing sendiri berasal dari Bahasa inggris yang berarti “cara ekspresi tambahan”. Ada beberapa metode dalam melakukan paraphrasing :

1.       First method

By changing the vocabulary (verbs/nouns)

Example :

(original)

a.       “it must be difficult to clear that dungeon solo.”

b.      “woahh that woman have a fit body.”

(paraphrasing)

a.       “it must be a problem to finish up that dungeon solo.”

b.      “woah that woman so hot.”

2.       Second method

By changing ther verb form(e.g. from active to passive)

Example :

a.       “hi do you see my wallet in here?”

b.      “kevas cook the fried rice”

(paraphrasing)

a.       “she ask me did I see her wallet?”

b.      “the fried rice was cooked by kevas”

3.       Third method

By changing the word class(e.g. from verb to noun phrase)

Example :

(original)

a.       “that food taste so bad”

b.      “my computer really good”

(paraphrasing)

a.       “the taste is bad because you put too much salt into that food”

b.      “ I just fixed my computer so now my computer really good”
